The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 3000 skilled engineers who focus on tendering engineering planning procurement project Management functional system testing installation supervision documentation and commissioning. However over the last decade it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energys units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy to date the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.
Transformer Digital Team Systems Integration Expert encompasses the integration and testing of embedded hardware/software solutions for the entire suite of Product Groups (PG) within the Transformer Business Unit (BU).
How youll make an impact:
Good Knowledge on Debugging / Troubleshooting issues in digital devices Numerical Relays SCADA RTU Etc
Good Knowledge on Digital Integration from process to System level (Leveraging all electrical Communication Protocol)
Knowledge on Digital Device configuration and communication. Knowledge Installation & commissioning of Digital Device Numerical Relays SCADA DCS RTU PLCs
Integration of 3rd party sensor to TXpert devices and maintain TXpert Ready Sensors portfolio. Performs wiring updates test fixture buildup and hardware installation to support continued buildup of INOPC Digital Lab.
Supports integration of 3rd party devices into Digital Aggregators. This includes analysis of industrial communications performing mapping of available data registers setup and evaluation of 3rd party device into PG architecture.
Leverage common/scalable solutions across the Transformer Business unit where possible and improve operations by conducting systems reviews and recommending changes in policies or procedures
Work with subsystem teams domain subject matter experts and suppliers in the assessment selection integration and qualification of key components
Escalate issues to the appropriate project or department manager as needed. Minimize exposure and risks on projects and implement risk mitigation when required.
Participate in and assist team members in a variety of more complex engineering activities.
Global collaboration with R&D Center Technology Managers and Engineers from the various Power Girds Divisions from Hitachi Energy.

Your Background:
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related field with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge on the SCADA RTU Protection Relay (Schneider Alstom ABB Siemens Si-fang)
Knowledge on communication protocol IECModbus TCP & RTU PRP HSR RSTP GOOSE DNP3
Knowledge on operating System Windows Windows Server Linux
Knowledge on Transformer Digital Device and integration will be plus.
Outstanding communication skills for effective collaboration with business stakeholders product owners developers and end users across diverse regions and cultures.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines with strong self-management skills.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
Full-Time
