Job Description
Imaging Technologist Assistant
Granger Medical Clinic is one of the largest independent physician-owned medical clinic groups in Utah. Care is our mission. Its our shared vision. We are looking for a friendly pleasant professional Technologist Assistant to join our team and share our vision.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Exhibits a passion for serving the needs of others and communicating courteously and effectively with patients.
Must be dependable flexible and multi-task oriented.
Enjoy working with people being a team player and willing to help others with tasks.
Must be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with physicians clinic staff and patients.
Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and minimal supervision
What You Will Do:
Ensures patients preauthorization is complete and accurate for appointment
Schedule patients during downtime
Verify patient demographic information upon arrival
Check-in patient and collect pre-payment if applicable
Verifying completion and accuracy of necessary paperwork
Help patient to changing room and to lock up their belongings
Help CT/MRI set up and place IV if applicable
Help get patients on the CT/MRI table and positioned for their exam
Clean and prep CT/MRI table for next scan
Help CT/MRI Techs with EMR/PACS work (obtaining prior images documentation looking up lab work looking up patient histories scanning paperwork for radiologist).
Burning images to a disc when applicable
Stock supplies and linen
Education and Experience:
High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
1 year experience in a medical office or radiology setting preferred
Experience with direct patient interaction preferred
BLS certification and ability to become MRI safety certified
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Standing and walking for extended periods Lifting up to 50lbs.
Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment.
Inside climate-controlled working conditions.

The salary range listed is the base salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to work experience education and/or skill level.
