The Light and Wonder Bench Technician I is primarily responsible for the repair of the Gaming equipment and their associated peripherals. Additional responsibilities include venue installations/removals providing technical support to the field emergency field support with service calls assisting with shipping and receiving and providing parts inventory control.
The Bench Technician I has five main responsibilities:
1) Repair terminals and peripherals
2) Provide technical support to field technicians
3) Terminals installations and removals in venues
4) Assist with shipping and receiving.
5) Provide parts inventory control.
The technician will average 4 terminal and/or peripheral repairs each day.
Job Functions:
Performs repair functions associated with the Gaming equipment and all associated peripherals with limited supervision.
Installs and removes terminals from the venues
Provides technical assistance both in phone support and on-site.
Assists in escalated situations where additional staffing is required in the field to help with service calls bench repair or special events.
Performs functions associated with all warehouse shipping and receiving tasks.
Provides inventory control of all terminal peripheral communications parts and consumables.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Associates degree or equivalent in Engineering Communications Electronic Technician or Computer Operations. One to two years related experience is desired. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of operations. Ability to work holidays and nights when needed.
Valid Puerto Rico drivers license and clean driving record
Must ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
Must be available to work mandatory and as needed overtime
Technical experience preferred
Basic knowledge of MS Windows programs
Must ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
Skills/Abilities:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to ascend and descend ladder heights up to 40 feet
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to communicate well with customers and all team members
Ability to continuously learn
