What youll be doing:
As an Infusion RN at Logan Health Whitefish youll be part of a small dedicated team providing critical outpatient infusion services including hydration antibiotics immunotherapy iron infusions and rheumatology treatments. This role sees a variety of patients from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Youre a skilled and compassionate RN who thrives in a dynamic team-oriented environment. You bring clinical expertise and heart to every patient interaction and are comfortable managing multiple patients and tasks simultaneously. We are looking for somone who has the following:
Strong vascular access experience (midlines PICCs ports IVs)
Background in caring for immunocompromised or complex patient populations
Able to assist with staff and patient education
Flexible and a true team player who jumps in where needed
Certification in infusion or vascular access (CRNI VA-BC) is a plus

Qualifications:
Graduate from school of professional nursing required.
Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR and/or BLS certification required
Additional Qualifications per clinical departments as follows:
AHA ACLS - within six (6) months of hire required.
AHA PALS - within six (6) months of hire required.

Excellent organizational skills detail-oriented a self-starter possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact professionalism and diplomacy.
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
Job Specific Duties:
Applies the clinical discipline of professional nursing through the nursing process.
Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospital and nursing divisions philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing state nurse practice act and other governing agency regulations.
Resolves patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
Sets priorities for nursing care based on the care plan and delivers care in a timely manner.
Completes discharge summary and instructions appropriately to ensure continuity of post- hospitalized care.
Precepts and Mentors new staff/students.
Performs technical tasks and procedures safely and accurately.
Completes patient hand-off in accordance with facility standards
Follows all National and facility standards for safe medication administration and security using resources available and critical thinking skills.
Completes appropriate documentation per protocol and procedures.
Conducts chart audits to facilitate quality improvement.
Participates in patient teaching appropriate to clinical area.
Conveys appropriate information to the Discharge Planner or Patient Care coordinator.
Submits appropriate work orders for malfunctioning equipment. Tags and pulls malfunctioning equipment out of service.
Respects patients rights to privacy and dignity.
Maintains patient rooms in a clean and comfortable environment appropriate to the needs of the patient.
Observes all aspects of HIPPA in protecting patient information and reports concerns for breeches.

Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.
Shift:
Variable (United States of America)Schedule: This is a full-time 36 hours per week position (12-hour day shifts). Shifts begin at 7 a.m.
This position will work primarily Monday - Friday (days may vary) and be required to work 2-3 rotating weekend shifts per month.
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
