In this role youll be responsible for keeping our viewers informed prepared and safe through compelling accurate weather coverage on television digital and social media platforms. • Key Responsibilities

• Deliver live accurate and engaging weather forecasts during scheduled newscasts
• Provide continuous real-time coverage during severe weather events
• Create graphics and visual storytelling using weather software (e.g. WSI Max Baron Lynx or similar)
• Produce digital and social media forecasts; post updates on digital platforms
• Collaborate with producers and newsroom staff to plan and enhance weather coverage
• Represent the station at community events school visits and weather safety outreach programs

• Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Meteorology Atmospheric Science or related field
• 23 years of on-air meteorology experience preferred
• Strong on-camera communication and presentation skills
• Familiarity with Baron Weather systems broadcast weather tools and newsroom workflows
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and severe weather coverage
