About the Role
Were seeking a passionate Developer Advocate to bridge the gap between our powerful data transformation platform and the developer community. In this role youll create compelling technical content showcase Unstructureds capabilities through demos and engage with the developer ecosystem to drive adoption and gather feedback.
Key Responsibilities
Create highly technical content (blog posts tutorials sample applications) that demonstrate how to use Unstructured
Develop technical content explaining how Unstructured integrates with downstream RAG components
Represent Unstructured at local San Francisco tech events hackathons and AI/ML conferences
Gather user feedback through content engagement to inform product improvements
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy in all content
Requirements
Experience as a Developer Advocate or in a similar technical content creation role
3 years of experience in a technical role such as software engineering solution engineering or machine learning.
Fluency with the modern AI stack: LLMs vector databases RAG Agentic frameworks etc.
Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical material to diverse audiences
Proven ability to create engaging content for technical audiences
Coding proficiency in Python
Willingness to attend and present at local events in the San Francisco area
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with document understanding and OCR
Previous experience creating educational content for developer tools or platforms
Background in both software development and/or data engineering
Established online presence through technical content creation
