Job Description

Job Summary:
As the Area Manager you will oversee the planning and execution of complex projects drive business development initiatives and manage financial performance. You will collaborate closely with company leadership and other offices to align strategic goals and ensure consistent project excellence. Youll work in a collaborative multi-office environment with the support to make a lasting impact on communities throughout Western Oregon.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Lead the strategic direction and daily operations in the region
  • Manage municipal infrastructure projects from planning through delivery
  • Foster long-term relationships with municipal agencies utility providers and private clients
  • Drive financial performance including budgeting forecasting and resource planning
  • Provide technical oversight to ensure quality compliance and innovation
  • Collaborate with other company leadership and other offices to align goals and share best practices
  • Support business development through proposal leadership and client presentations
  • Hire mentor and develop a high-performing team of engineers and technical staff
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment where employees feel valued supported and empowered to growaligning with our values of being human diverse principled and balanced
  • Ensure consistent use of QA/QC processes and project documentation standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required and desired skillsets experience and qualifications for this role:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • 10 years of experience in municipal water/wastewater infrastructure
  • Current Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Oregon
  • Proven leadership of technical teams and multidisciplinary projects
  • Strong communication problem-solving and client-facing skills
  • Familiarity with Oregons infrastructure landscape and regulatory environment
  • Experience managing teams in both in-person and hybrid work settings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint and virtual presentation tools (e.g. Teams)
  • Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets create Excel trackers and be able to use Word and PowerPoint for reporting/presentations via Teams or in person.
