The Opportunity
Are you passionate about protecting the digital backbone of the energy industry At Hitachi Energy were looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst (Product Security Engineer) to join our mission of building secure resilient and future-ready software solutions. In this role youll dive deep into penetration testing vulnerability analysis and security lifecycle management. How Youll Make an Impact

• Conduct in-depth cybersecurity research and penetration testing
• Analyze product security controls and recommend improvements
• Develop and implement solutions to address vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with R&D to embed security into the development lifecycle
• Track and report on security metrics and compliance
• Lead internal awareness and training programs on cybersecurity
• Stay current with global cybersecurity trends tools and regulations
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines

Your Background

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Cybersecurity or a related field
• 8 years of experience in cybersecurity penetration testing or product security
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python C# or C
• Familiarity with tools like MetaDefender Metasploit and Burp Suite
• Strong understanding of vulnerabilities exploits and secure development practices
• Excellent analytical communication and collaboration skills
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
