Air Liquide Engineering & Construction builds the Groups production units (mainly air gas separation and hydrogen production units) and provides external customers with efficient sustainable customized technology and process solutions. Our core expertise in industrial gas energy conversion and gas purification enables customers to optimize natural resources. We cover the entire project life-cycle: license engineering services / proprietary equipment high-end engineering & design capabilities project management & execution services. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
Your key responsibilities:
Develop smart risk management plans and advise on the best safety assessment tools.
Clearly explain safety concepts to clients and help secure successful project agreements.
Guide technical teams on relevant safety standards.
Lead and participate in hazard identification and analysis (HAZOP HAZID SIL LOPA etc.).
Analyze potential process hazards (fire explosion etc.) and develop effective solutions.
Utilize software like DNV PHAST for modeling and analysis.
Contribute to fire and gas detection concepts and hazardous area classification.
Support the application of Functional Safety principles throughout projects.
Facilitate safety reviews and audits.
Travel worldwide to advise on safety during commissioning and conduct pre-start-up reviews.
Are you a MATCH
University degree in Chemical Engineering Safety Engineering or a comparable engineering discipline which has a strong focus on Process Engineering.
Minimum 3 -5 years professional experience in process engineering and/or process safety
Ability and desire to be a generalist; interpreting and assessing technical information from a variety of processes including several novel technologies
Excellent communication skills poise and assertiveness
Autonomous working style and analytical mindset
Strong organizational skills and good teamwork capabilities;
Very good command of English (both spoken and written)
Willingness to travel
Willingness to further develop your professional skills.
Command of the French language would be an additional asset
