Prep Cook HILTON GARDEN INN
Location: Hilton Garden Inn Suffolk Riverfront
Full-Time and Part-Time Job

Core Responsibilities:
- Complete opening duties:
- Set up workstations with required tools equipment and supplies according to standards.
- Inspect the cleanliness and working condition of all tools equipment and supplies.
- Check production schedule and pars.
- Establish priority items for the day.
- Inform the Chef/Kitchen Mgr. of any supplies that need to be requisitioned for the days tasks.
- Transport supplies from the storeroom and stock in designated areas.
- Start prep work on items needed for the particular banquet event orders.
- Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides according to department standards.
- Inform the Chef/ Kitchen Mgr. of any shortages before the item runs out.
Qualifications:

- One Year experience as a line cook at a hotel or full-service restaurant
- Ability to obtain Food Handling and Sanitation Certification within four weeks of hire
- Commensurate or transfer skill set is of primary importance
- Good attitude and work ethic practices in order to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria.
- Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required
