The Department of Climate Change Energy the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) is seeking a Senior Project Officer Grants to support the administration of program funding for projects under the NSW Coastal Management Framework- Coast and Estuary grant programs.
About the role
In this role you will oversee responsibilities for the end-to-end management of the grant program and grantee projects. You will ensure that projects are effectively governed financially monitored and supported to achieve their intended outcomes. You will also guide team members on grant processes best practices and decision-making.
About You
You will be accountable for administering and supporting a large volume of projects funded under the NSW Coast and Estuary grants program. You will lead the delivery of state-wide planning and implementation grant projects. You will monitor report on identified grant milestones and deliverables to ensure effective governance from inception to completion. This will also include program evaluation and review and the oversight of technical assessment of grant applications.
You will be required to prepare a range of documentation including funding deeds written briefings reports submissions and correspondence ensuring operational requirements are met. You will establish and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships through effective communication negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure consistency in outcomes and direction.

DCCEEW also ensures sustainable management of water resources across the state to support the environment communities and industry.
