In this role you will be working as a Controls Engineer for a client that works in the power distribution industry. This position will be responsible for programming and implementing control systems for power distribution and switchgear applications.
This position is a direct hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10 years of experience doing design of switchgear control systems for low and medium voltage applications
- Program and configure PLCS - Siemens and Fanuc preferred
- SCADA and HMI experience using WinCC and Wonderware
- Understand relay protection power meters and circuit breakers
- Adhere to project schedules
- Approximately 10% travel needed
