Responsibilities
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Safety
Uses safe process techniques and good housekeeping
Follows ITMs and safety guidelines
Wears proper PPE
Attends all safety meetings or takes the make-up test
Sustains 5S
R&D Development
Learns multiple polymer chemistry types
Makes polymer batches with a focus on processing methods
Tests polymer batches for QC specification tests
Completes lab notebook and follows documentation procedures
Completes experiments in a design
Observes and assists in pilot polymer batches
Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment visa status
EDUCATION
Required
Must have a HS diploma or GED
Currently pursuing a Bachelors in a STEM Degree
Must have a minimum 2.8 GPA
Preferred
Currently at a Junior or Senior standing
Chemistry majors preferred
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Required
Skilled at Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred
Basic understanding of information technology infrastructure and computer platforms.
Working knowledge of Minitab and Business Objects.
Start date will be in August 2025 with a minimum of 8 months requirement on site in Cleveland OH
