Part Time Flex Officer

Location: Joliet IL
Schedule:The schedule for this position will change week to week.
Pay:$18.00/hour

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. TheFlex Security Officerwill be monitoring and patrolling different client sites on a variety of preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for client sites pertaining to personnel visitors and the area. Strong and reliable performance will earn the Officer consideration for assignment to supervisory or other leadership posts. Ideally Officers will develop career paths to further grow within the Company.
Flex Officers are expected to work at least once every thirty days to maintain their Flex Officer position. If you are looking for flexibility with your schedule and are willing to be flexible with the needs of Securitas this is the position for you.
Position Requirements:
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Standard computer/technology skills needed.
- High level customer service skills needed.
- Must be adaptable to work a variety of sites.
- Must have strong de-escalation skills.
- Reliable transportation to travel to different locations.
- Must have 2 or more years of security experience.
Note: All candidates must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
Typical Flex Security Officer Activities:
- Support staffing requirements at different accounts during shortages due to vacations call-offs no shows suspensions holidays etc.
- Assist in start-ups at new accounts to include working the site writing post orders and training checklists and training newly assigned permanent Security Officers.
- Work special security assignments as required.
- Expect to work on weekends and holidays with limited notice and work during high need periods.
