Job Description
Become a Senior Privacy Engineer at Roblox Corporation and help craft our platforms privacy landscape. Youll work with an outstanding team to ensure detailed data privacy for millions of users and create safer shared experiences.
You will:
- Develop and implement privacy policies data handling guidelines and protocols.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and data protection audits.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to determine privacy requirements and integrate prevention-focused privacy solutions.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure strict compliance.
- Educate and train staff on standard methodologies for privacy.
- Respond to privacy issues and incidents including root cause analysis and managing remediation.
You have:
- Proven experience in privacy engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA LGPD etc).
- Proficiency in privacy principles (e.g.: data minimization identity profiling etc) and privacy-enhancing technologies (e.g.: differential privacy k-anonymity etc).
- Familiarity with SQL queries scripting languages (e.g.: python) and system design & architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related discipline.
