Contract Type: Fixed Term for 2 years
Working Hours: 20 hours per week
Worker Type: Onsite Worker
Salary: Starting Salary is 23656 - 24404 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

About the Role
To provide a comprehensive and efficient laundry service within a residential setting in order to ensure cleanliness and availability of fresh linen and clothing as required for citizens. To undertake regular cleaning and laundering of soft furnishings and fittings in order to maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the establishment.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- An understanding and experience of laundry tasks.
- Basic knowledge of COSHH/health and safety requirements in the contact of chemicals and equipment used for laundering.
- Understand different laundering requirements for various fabrics and linens using a range of different laundering techniques.
- Ability to report problems with equipment and chemicals when required in order to ensure safety of self and colleagues.
- Ability to use own initiative and ask for support when required.
- Ability to attend training relevant to the role as and when required.
-A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
