Residential Conveyancing Solicitor / Fee Earner
Location: Leeds City Centre Hybrid Working Available
Salary: 35000 DOE Bonus Excellent Benefits
Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancer looking for a fresh opportunity in a forward-thinking supportive firm Were recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected law firm with a modern client-focused approach. Based in the heart of Leeds this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a collaborative team delivering top-tier conveyancing services with the backing of a dynamic and innovative legal practice.
The Role
Youll join a busy well-structured conveyancing department known for its quality of work client satisfaction and team-oriented culture. Working as part of a dedicated two-person team (a solicitor/fee earner and a senior assistant) youll have full responsibility for managing a varied residential caseload from start to finish.
Key responsibilities include:
Handling a full range of residential property transactions (freehold leasehold and shared ownership) from instruction to completion
Conducting detailed title checks and resolving any issues proactively
Advising clients on mortgage offers and schemes such as Help to Buy
Preparing legal documentation including transfer forms redemption statements and completion packs
Liaising with clients estate agents lenders and other solicitors to ensure timely and smooth transactions
Keeping internal systems and client portals fully updated
What Were Looking For
A minimum of 3 years solid experience in residential conveyancing
Strong technical knowledge across a wide range of property matters
Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently and efficiently
Excellent client care communication and problem-solving skills
Proactive detail-focused and highly organised
