The Role
As a System Administrator you will analyze and resolve complex problems related to server hardware applications and software integration. Youll configure and manage UNIX Linux and Windows operating systems including installing software troubleshooting maintaining integrity and configuring network components. This role also involves implementing operating system enhancements to boost reliability and performance. Work is performed onsite in Laurel MD with a GREAT team of engineers!
What Youll Bring
- Technical BS and minimum of fifteen (15) years experience as a System Administrator; Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for degrees.
- Active IAT I certification required per customer requirements.
- Experience with key technologies including:
-- Linux (RedHat) and VMWare
-- Active Directory Group Policy DHCP DNS
-- Shared storage and databases
-- Certification/Accreditation Security Support
-- Automated processes via scripting (Python PowerShell)
-- McAfee EPO Servers CENTRIFY
TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (no clearance upgrades or CCAs). Please note you MUST have the required clearance for consideration (uncleared or under-cleared applicants will not receive a response).
