Job Summary
Support the Air Force Laboratory (AFRL) Sensors Directorate Electro Optics (EO)/Infrared (IR) Technologies branch to help advance R&D efforts in the field of EO/IR. Perform research under the direction of a senior scientist in the area of laser sources. Assess components related to Photonic Integrated Circuits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide research and development for various optoelectronic applications
- Characterize materials and related components
- Assist in maintaining and improving characterization setups.
- Provide data analysis and assist in the generation of reports and presentations to convey progress and results
Work Environment:
- Location: On-site
- Travel Requirements: None
- Working Hours: Standard
Required Qualifications:
- B.S in engineering or physics
- Able to work in laboratory environment and team setting
