alts Alteration Specialists is looking for Tailors

We are looking for a dynamic professional Tailors distinguished by their charisma technical prowess and professional integrity. This role will include sewing on the machine and supporting the fitter/tailors and tailor shop manager. This is a full time role in New York City Brooklyn Hoboken NJ and GreenwichCT with salary full benefits and opportunities for future growth.

Responsibilities

Machine Production and Sewing

• Demonstrate that you are meeting personal production targets
• Cultivate proficiency with mens womens and bridal alterations as well as alterations of difficult fabrics

Analytics

• Constantly be evaluating processes that are not efficient and come up with solutions to better optimize our organization
• Inform front desk of all re-alterations
• Keep track of and scan your production during the day and communicate with front desk to confirm accuracy

Experience

• 5 years of alteration tailoring experience required
• Proficiency in English recommended

Compensation

Range is from $18/hour- $30/hour*
Standard/Basic Tailors are between $18-$22/hour
Intermediate from $23-$26/hour
Advanced $26-30/hour
