Job Title:Jr Automation Technician
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with tests inspect and adjust temperature sensors flow meters pressure gauges temperature indicators controllers or other recording indicating or controls drawings to check for accuracy.
- Assist in building Automation Graphics BAS front-end basic programming field-level controller programming and checkout.
- Keep management or customers informed of job progress and issues.
- Help prepare schematic drawings sketches and blueprints as needed.
- Complete administrative tasks including but not limited to filling out accurate timesheets completing checkout sheets supporting Smartsheet daily jobs reports and other project-related documentation.
- Interface with the Automation Team of programmers engineers designers and project managers.
- Adhere to all safety standards and attend required safety training.
Job Specifications (incl. Education requirements minimal experience computer skills required etc.)
- Associates degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical Engineering) preferred.
- Previous industry experience or experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry is a plus.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Attention and listening skills.
- Strong Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and or HVAC-related software.
- Able to use essential hand tools.

Compensation Range: $23 - $26 per hour
