Full time Cook - Memory Support
The Glebe is seeking a Cook to join our team!
Our upscale retirement community is looking for a professional experienced Cook who has a passion for food and a strong attention to detail. We are seeking an individual who has experience in the food service industry and is committed to impeccable food preparation and presentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare menu items according to house recipes and production numbers
- Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours
- Follow standard recipes and special diet orders
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and appliances
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cooking and culinary arts
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
- Strong attention to detail
- Good knife skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well in team
