Job Description
A Joint Venture between Thales (67%) and Leonardo (33%) Thales Alenia Space is a global space manufacturer delivering for more than 40 years high-tech solutions for telecommunications navigation Earth Observation environmental management exploration science and orbital infrastructures. The successful candidate will be inserted in a team whose primary job is to manage data for analytical or operational uses. She/He will be responsible for building data pipelines to bring together information from different source systems. Most of the sources refers to data coming from satellite platforms or constellations. He/she will be inserted in a team which specifies designs develops and qualifies software applications for satellite test systems.
The tasks will include:
- Software design. The design language is UML;
- Software development using the C/C/C# & PYTHON languages;
- Management virtual environment (virtual machines containers hyper-converged systems);
- Software Testing and Validation.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
- Previous Experience: Knowledge of the programming languages above mentioned; Knowledge of the multitasking programming environments; Background on network design and virtual environment management (VMWARE mainly).
