Level 2 Engineering Apprenticeship - Propshaft Services
This Level 2 Engineering Apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work problem-solving and learning new skills. Youll gain real industry experience while earning and working towards a recognised qualification.
Apprenticeship Overview:
- Salary:11778 per year
- Working Week: Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm. (1 hour break)
- Duration:18months
- Hours:30 hours per week

Duties:
The manual handling of propshafts and associated parts.
Inspecting and diagnosing customers shafts.
Using various hand tools.
Replacing or repairing joints bearings bushes flanges and any other components as directed.
Operating rotating wire wheel and grinding wheel machines.
Assembling complete shafts to specific dimensions.
Operating lathes and presses.
MIG welding.
Operating the dynamic balancing machine.
Spray painting.
Wrapping and packing items for despatch.
Sweeping and keeping clean the facility.
