Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead Sales to guide and manage our field sales operations. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of proven experience in B2B sales leading teams and driving customer acquisition strategies. This position demands both strategic thinking and on-ground leadership including territory planning sales performance management team development and strong customer relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead coach and manage a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) engaged in field sales.
- Mentor team members to enhance their sales effectiveness customer engagement and retention.
- Monitor team KPIs and individual sales performance; implement improvement strategies where necessary.
- Conduct regular field visits to ensure high standards of customer interaction and brand representation.
- Strategically segment the market and assign sales territories to optimize coverage and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align regional sales goals with overall business objectives.
- Analyze customer feedback and market dynamics to refine sales pitches and value propositions.
Requirements
- Leadership & Coaching: Proven experience in managing mentoring and scaling high-performing sales teams.
- Strategic Sales Execution: Strong ability to plan and execute B2B sales strategies.
- Customer Engagement: Deep understanding of SME sales cycles and expertise in building long-term customer relationships.
- Performance Management: Proficiency in setting targets reviewing performance and driving accountability.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Hindi; Marathi is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Analytical and data-driven with a proactive approach to resolving business and operational challenges.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Minimum 9 years in sales with at least 2 years in a team leadership or supervisory capacity.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems sales dashboards and digital tools for reporting and insights.
Personality: Results-focused energetic collaborative and passionate about sustainability and innovation.
