Job Purpose
- Provide expert advice on security of tenure and support tenants at risk of losing their tenancy
- Proactively manage complex casework and contribute to case reviews to prevent homelessness

Essential Experience Required

Essential Qualification Required
- NVQ Diploma relevant degree or relevant experience in a relevant field
Additional Information
- Working hours: 36.20 hours per week
- Working arrangements: Office-based 50% of the time after completion of an office-based induction period
- Office hours: 9.00am - 5.00pm

An experienced Housing Advice/ Prevention/Homelessness Assessment Officer who can hit the ground running. Candidate will be expected to be part of the Housing Options Rough Sleepers Team, completing assessment, and carrying out respective prevention and relief work. and managing a varied caseload Knowledge of Part VII Housing Act 1996, Homelessness Reduction Act and other relevant legislation and statute is required along with experience of carrying out homelessness enquires, casework and drafting s184 decision letters. Candidates will be required to demonstrate they have practical experience of delivering in a pressurised Housing Options Services and is manage the multiple demands and pressures of the service. Hillingdon Offers flexible working arrangements. Candidate should expect to be office based 50% of the time once they have completed an office-based induction period which normally takes two to four weeks to complete depending on level of competency. Office hours are 9.00am - 5.00pm
