This is a remote position.
The Research and Valuation Analyst supports a high-performing commercial real estate brokerage team by delivering key insights through market research financial analysis CRM management and proposal development. This role plays a vital part in ensuring efficient operations informed decision-making and successful transaction execution.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Data Management
- Conduct competitive analysis on commercial real estate assets (primarily multifamily)
- Track and input market comps cap rates trends and active listings
- Ensure CRM data (e.g. Salesforce RealNex) is accurate and up to date
Valuation & Underwriting Support
- Assist in preparing Broker Opinions of Value (BOVs)
- Compile financial data and rent rolls for underwriting purposes
- Support the creation of financial models (Excel Argus or equivalent)
Proposal & Presentation Development
- Coordinate and organize content for listing proposals and presentations
- Format and proofread documents to ensure quality and brand consistency
- Partner with marketing team to develop visual and presentation assets
Marketing & Transaction Support
- Track listing progress and support due diligence coordination
- Assist in the design and editing of marketing materials as needed
- Prepare internal reports and deal pipeline summaries
Administrative & Team Support
- Provide ad hoc research and support to team members
- Maintain organization of shared drives and folder structures
- Draft meeting notes and client briefing summaries
Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor s degree preferred (e.g. Real Estate Business Finance)
- Experience:
- 1 2 years in commercial real estate or a related analytical role
- CRM Skills:
- Familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce RealNex or similar CRM systems
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint Word and Outlook
- Preferred Tools & Knowledge:
- Exposure to Argus Adobe InDesign and commercial listing platforms (LoopNet CoStar MLS)
- Soft Skills:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage deadlines and multitask effectively
- Amenable working night shift (US Hours) and holidays.
