Job Description
Duties:
- Greet and room patients
- Prepare EMR chart and update skin Cancer history
- Do intake on patients medications allergies past medical history and immunizations.
- Scribe for the provider
- Prep for and assist with biopsies and procedures.
- Package and label specimens for shipment
- Give provider-guided instructions to patients after the visit
- Clean stock and set up exam rooms between patient visits
- Clean and autoclave surgical instruments
- When needed check patients in and out and answer phone calls
Qualifications :
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- EMR experience
- Flexibility
- Ability to learn both medical assistant and administrative duties
Additional Information :
Job Type:
- Full-time: Monday-Friday 7:50am 5:00pm
Experience:
- At least six months of medical assisting experience with administrative experience a plus.
- Experience using an EMR
Education
- Completion of medical assisting school
