Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Traffic Management Center Operator to be based in Nashville TN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control traffic management devices (CCTV Dynamic Message Signs etc.) across Davidson County highways.
- Support first responders emergency management and law enforcement communications.
- Detect and report incidents dispatch service patrols assist first responders and notify the public.
- Handle calls from various persons organizations and agencies.
- Create and submit work orders for equipment failures or malfunctions.
- Use software applications to control ITS field devices monitor traffic flow and perform data analysis.
- Ensure the accuracy of data submissions in logs reports and documentation.
- Provide guidance to responders and motorists during severe traffic events.
- Post alerts notifications and messages as needed.
- Assist in coordinating responses to disasters and high-profile events affecting roadways.
- Perform other related duties as directed.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
High School 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in traffic management or a related field.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with traffic management software and devices.
