What You Will Do
Pratt & Whitney seeks a motivated and detail-oriented engineer to support Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities as part of the Engine Design & Systems Integration (EDSI) organization. The EDSI organization is a multi-functional group that provides system level engineering solutions to meet customer requirements. The MBSE discipline follows a methodological approach to support the development of complex systems through the requirements design analysis verification and validation phases.
Support requirement management systems and design integration activities.
Candidates should have successfully demonstrated analytical and mathematical modeling skills to solve problems and the ability to work at an implementation level.
Responsible for making minor changes or enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve the effectiveness of the work area.
Based on business needs the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company and travel up to 10%.
English (read write speak) is required when communicating with customers co-workers or supervisors who only speak English.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelors degree in Computer Electrical Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
2 years of engineering experience or an Advanced Degree within Engineering with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Qualifications We Prefer
Knowledge of Thermodynamics Fluids Mechanics.
Experience with agile development methods.
Knowledge of gas turbine engines.
Experience with C Python MATLAB or VBA programming.
Experience in Model Based System Engineering.
Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler or equivalent software Magic Grid DoDAF UAF etc.
