Position: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to support our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing infrastructure automation and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions to support our construction projects

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design appropriate solutions

- Automate infrastructure deployment and management processes using tools such as Terraform Ansible and Chef

- Monitor and optimize the performance of our cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and scalability

- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely manner

- Develop and maintain documentation for our cloud infrastructure and processes

- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in cloud computing and infrastructure automation

- Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for production systems

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering

- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud

- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform Ansible or Chef

- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell

- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and ELK stack

- Excellent project management and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect are a plus
