About the Role We re looking for a full-time Video Editor & Creative Assistant to support a growing creative studio that produces high-quality visual content for digital and social platforms. This role is video-editing focused with occasional graphic design tasks. You ll collaborate closely with a creative director to deliver standout branded content short-form videos and other media assets. Key Responsibilities
Primary focus: Edit branded video content social media reels promotional videos and client deliverables
Handle quick-turnaround edits for short-form social content while maintaining high production value
Manage large file sizes 100GB) and maintain organized workflows for file transfer storage and version control
Work with log/raw footage handling color correction formatting and post-production from start to finish
Incorporate feedback and collaborate directly with the creative lead
Occasionally support graphic design tasks such as thumbnails social assets and client-facing visuals
Use tools like Photoshop Figma After Effects or Canva for light design work. While role is focused on Video editing some adhoc graphic design/editing is required.
Suggest and implement improvements to workflow and creative processes
Requirements
3 years of professional video editing experience with a strong portfolio
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (required)
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (especially After Effects and Photoshop)
Proven ability to manage and process large media files efficiently
Comfortable working with log/raw video footage and applying color correction and finishing
Strong sense of visual storytelling pacing and attention to detail
Adaptable self-motivated and comfortable with creative ambiguity
High-speed internet and a powerful computer/external hardware capable of handling large file workflows 100GB files)
Familiarity with cloud storage and large file transfer tools (Google Drive WeTransfer Dropbox etc.
Portfolio required recruiter will ask for this and/or work samples after initial interview.
Nice-to-Have
Experience using CanvaFigma or similar tools for quick graphic tasks
Background working with creators agencies or production teams
Understanding of social media trends and content optimization
