Job Description

Saint Josephs College of Maine an NCAA Division III member and member of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference invites applications for the part-time position ofAssistant Field Hockey Coach!

Duties Associated with the Position:

  • Responsible for management and administration of Field Hockey program in compliance with Saint Josephs College NCAA GNAC rules and regulations

  • Coaching

  • Recruiting student-athletes who meet Saint Josephs College admissions standards

  • Scheduling

  • Conditioning

  • Scouting

  • Practice planning

  • Fundraising

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree

  • At least three years of coaching in high school or college but will also consider candidates with college playing experience

Essential Skills:

  • Strong communication

  • Problem-solving and leadership skill

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively

  • Commitment to program development and the overall development of Saint Josephs College student-athletes
