DESCRIPTION OF WORK
We have an immediate opening in the In-Home division for a Protective Service unit. This position is responsible for but not limited to the following: Supervision of workers program maintenance and development administrative areas of service compliance with union agency and office personnel policies individual professional growth and for increasing the effectiveness of service delivery. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday - Friday with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework:No telework for the first six (6) months of employment. After an employee has completed six (6) months of employment and have regular status there may be opportunities for hybrid work per the program offices hybrid schedule.
- Salary:In some cases the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelors degree with major course work in sociology social welfare psychology gerontology criminal justice or other related social sciences; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology social welfare psychology gerontology criminal justice or other related social sciences..
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirementis currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including but not limited to PA State Police clearance PA Child Abuse history clearance and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
