Part-Time Dishwasher
Join Our Team at Trinity Village
Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable individual to join Trinity Village as a part-time Dishwasher (Utility Aide/Pot Washer). This role is vital in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment and ensuring that residents and staff enjoy dining in an orderly setting.
Position Details
- Position: Dishwasher (Utility Aide/Pot Washer)
- Location: Trinity Village
- Hours: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Evenings
- Pay: Starting at $12 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and sterilize pots pans and utensils according to health regulations.
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness by sweeping mopping and managing garbage disposal.
- Prepare and clean the staff dining room and serve meals to staff members.
- Check in food deliveries and store stock properly using rotation techniques.
- Maintain clean and organized storerooms refrigerators and freezers.
- Participate in in-service training sessions and follow established policies and safety standards.
- Remain courteous and tactful when interacting with residents staff and others.
- Perform other duties as necessary to ensure the orderly operation of the facility.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and write effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Prior experience in a food service environment (preferred).
Working Conditions
- Ability to reach bend stoop and frequently lift up to a minimum of 40 pounds.
- Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 9 hours).
- Must maintain personal hygiene in accordance with food service employee standards.
- Must be free from infections or diseases.
