DoD Clearance: SecretRaytheon is seeking a temporary Monolithic Microwave Integrate Circuit (MMIC) subject matter expert engineer in the Microelectronic Products Department in McKinney TX.
What You Will Do
- Assume responsibility for the design analysis simulation test and integration of RF integrated circuits for land space and airborne systems. The work is focused on GaAs and GaN (III-V) integrated circuit design fabrication technologies and processes.
- Ability to advocate for rigorous and systematic design processes and for helping others to understand and follow the companys documented engineering processes create innovative circuit solutions and for mentoring less experienced engineers. You will also provide leadership on projects including responsibility for schedules budgets and design oversight. You will contribute to technology roadmaps proposal development and business capture.
Qualifications You Must Have
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
- Collaborate with department leadership team to develop and manage technology roadmaps in support of future technologies and IR&D
- Experience designing GaN GaAs
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

- Ability to work well in a team environment with excellent communication skills
- Experience with prioritizing and contributing to multiple tasks at the sametime
