Babysitter
Location: Hot Springs AR
Monday-Friday
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the care of children in the SWS program as well as staff children on a limited basis.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily in a timely manner. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Must have excellent communication skills and be a problem solver. The ability to work well with children and mothers of children in treatment at GRC. Knowledge of learning techniques appropriate for children ages newborn 6. The person in this position must pass a background check and not be on a child maltreatment list.
Education and/or Experience
Minimum of a GED or high school diploma; previous experience in childcare. Must have CPR/First Aid/Infant CPR training and keep it current. Must have taken an online babysitting course.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to stand reach lift bend knell stoop climb push and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less; manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
Job Duties
Per insurance employees must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid drivers license.
