About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled QA Engineer Automation to join our growing QA team. This is a full-time onsite position at our Head Office in Khayaban-e-Amin Lahore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building maintaining and executing automated test frameworks that ensure high product quality and fast release cycles.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain robust automation frameworks for web mobile and API testing

Write clear reusable and scalable test scripts using tools such as Selenium Cypress or Playwright

Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand application workflows and translate them into test scenarios

Conduct regression testing integration testing and performance testing using automation tools
-
Identify record and thoroughly document bugs then track them to resolution
-
Continuously improve automation coverage and optimize test execution times
-
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into deployment workflows

Monitor test results and generate reports for internal stakeholders

Participate in code reviews and QA planning meetings
-
Stay up to date with the latest QA automation tools trends and practices
Requirements:
-
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field

2 years of hands-on experience in automation testing

Strong programming/scripting skills in Python JavaScript or Java
-
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium Cypress Playwright or Robot Framework

Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman REST Assured or Karate
-
Solid understanding of software testing principles test lifecycle and Agile methodologies
-
Experience working with version control systems (Git) CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI)
-
Knowledge of database querying using SQL
-
Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter LoadRunner) is a plus
-
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
-
Strong communication and documentation abilities
