We have an exciting role on offer within our Tees Community Equipment Services as an Occupational Therapist (TCES).
About Us
At Tees Community Equipment Service (TCES) we are committed to improving the quality of life for individuals across our community. We provide essential disability equipment that empowers people to live safely and independently at home. Our comprehensive range includes walking frames commodes hoists bath lifts chairs beds mattresses and more. Were currently seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team and play a vital role in delivering equipment training and education to health and social care professionals who access TCES services.

What Were Looking for to be successful in this role you will need:
A degree or postgraduate diploma in Occupational Therapy
HCPC registration to practise as an Occupational Therapist in the UK
Experience in assessing and providing community equipment
Strong interest in training and education
Excellent communication and IT skills
Confidence in working across multi-disciplinary teams and with clients with complex needs.
What Youll Be Doing As a key member of our training team you will:
Deliver face-to-face training sessions in our purpose-built training facility
Provide tailored guidance on equipment selection risk assessment and fitting
Act as a specialist resource across a range of professional disciplines
Evaluate and develop training programmes using staff feedback
Contribute to clinical and product evaluations research and equipment reviews Draft and review policies procedures and guidance documents
Maintain and update our web-based equipment catalogue
Support audits in the community and help resolve complex equipment-related challenges.
This is a part-time position working 15 hours per week typically on two of the following days: Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Flexibility may be required on occasion depending on service needs.
