Job Description:
Join Pitney Bowes as a CDL A Truck Driver IV open schedule in Charlotte North Carolina!
Your work open schedule will be Sunday through Saturday from your schedule as needed.
Your hourly Pay:$24.50 paid weekly with an opportunity for overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Daily Log Maintenance:Keep a detailed drivers log or route sheet for mileage stops and cargo or utilize the ELD system.
- Schedule Adherence:Maintain pickup and delivery schedules meeting deadlines using software tools.
- Vehicle and Work Area Cleanliness:Ensure your vehicle and work area are clean and well-maintained.
- Safety and Security:Understand and follow all safety and security precautions and company policies.
- Attendance:Maintain regular attendance.
- Technology Use:Utilize all required cell phone applications effectively.
- Policy Compliance:Demonstrate and adhere to safety and security precautions and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Must have current work experience at Pitney Bowes as a CDL A Truck Driver IV for Presort Services.
- Age Requirement:Must be at least 21 years old.
- Licensing:Hold a valid Class A License and meet applicable DOT requirements for CDL.
- Experience:Have a minimum of six months of verifiable driving experience and at least 50000 miles in the last five years driving a tractor-trailer (semi) truck with a safe driving record.
- Physical Ability:Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs. walking standing stooping and bending with or without accommodations.
- Flexibility:Ability to work mandatory overtime which may include weekends holidays and/or different shifts with little or no advance notice.
- Language Skills:Basic understanding of English to comprehend and follow safety and operational directions communicated in English.

About Our team:
Pitney Bowes Presort Services performs mail sorting; performing some of the work that would typically be performed by the USPS. For completing this work Presort Services receives discounted postage rates. By performing this sorting work on behalf of our clients we are able to share a portion of that discount with them. Our national network of operating centers processes over 17 billion pieces of mail annually. We provide mailers with end-to-end solutions from pick-up at their location into delivery into the postal system network providing optimal postage savings.
