Job Description

THE POSITION

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to utilize your knowledge of storeroom management Do you have experience working in complex stores and warehouses The Department of Human Services (DHS) Wernersville State Hospital is seeking a reliable and hard-working Storekeeper 1. If you want to help oversee perpetual inventory that is necessary for efficient operations and effective care at our facility then we want to talk to you! Apply today!


DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Storekeeper 1 you will supervise and oversee Warehousing Department operations. You will process storeroom requisitions check received items verify proper storage area placement and comply with specifications and hospital policies. You will also replenish inventory to prevent supply lapses set reorder level parameters monitorproper storage conditions for medical supplies and check expiration dates. This role requires the ability to effectively plan organize and administer all department deliveries while exercising care in the custody and utilization of supplies. In addition you will conduct performance evaluations implement new guidelines and procedures complete assigned investigations as aPatient Abuse Investigator and maintain vendor relationships.
