TITLE: Inventory Assistant
POSITION CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
DEPARTMENT: Logistics
POSITION REPORT TO: Inventory Control Manager
Travel Requirement: 10%
SUMMARY: An Inventory Assistant will manage the stock levels of finished goods across our multiple facilities in the US. The ideal candidate will pay acute attention to detail and must be able to multitask. This is a temp to hire position.
EXPERIENCE
At least 1 year of relevant experience
Strong Knowledge of Inventory control multiple locations several SKUs
Good management skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
EDUCATION
Associate degree in the supply chain is preferred but not required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform periodic inventory reconciliation for all manufacturing facilities and 3PL sites
Coordinate with respective warehouse managers to address the discrepancies
Perform root cause analysis on all inventory discrepancies to properly identify and correct the issue.
Conduct compliance checks to ensure that inventory transactions are correctly made.
Coordinate the inventory movement data collection process for product recalls.
Ensure accurate and concise representation of product in inventory software.
Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to identify and resolve discrepancies between systems to reduce risks operations in the overall supply chain
Will be required to run ad-hoc reports/investigations.
Perform confirm and resolve all cycle count discrepancies every 4 weeks (end of each Period).
Assist in cycle count at multiple facilities
Identify and lead continuous improvement.
