Excel Automation Consultant (90-Day Contract)
In this project-based position youll be responsible for pulling data from external sources into Excel building macros and VBA scripts to streamline reporting and delivering dashboards that update in real-time. If you love making systems more efficient enjoy solving technical puzzles and want to make a direct impact in a collaborative fast-paced environment this is the perfect opportunity to shine.
This is a hybrid position based in Buffalo NY.
Responsibilities:
- Automate Excel-based workflows using VBA macros and advanced formulas
- Pull and integrate data from SQL databases and APIs into Excel
- Transform and analyze data using pivot tables lookup functions and logic-driven formulas
- Build dashboards and reporting tools that update dynamically from connected sources
- Work closely with internal teams to understand business needs and deliver effective automation solutions
- Document processes and support smooth handoff at the conclusion of the 90-day project
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in Excel automation data integration or related technical roles
- Advanced skills in Excel (formulas macros VBA)
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data
- Experience with API integrations for data exchange
- Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues independently
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a hybrid team environment
