The Certification Licensure Examiner 2/Administrative Professional 2 plays an important partat the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professional Board. In this role you will be responsiblefor:
- Providing administrative assistance and customer service through routine tasks such as independently responding to general questions received regarding certification and or licensure via email telephone or in person.
- Maintaining considerable knowledge of agency policies and procedures in order to communicate effectively with those seeking assistance or information about certification or licensure.
- Compiling data and preparing reports.
- Drafting correspondence and sending to licensees and or applicants.
- Examining reviewing and verifying incoming information regarding applications for licensure certification or renewal.
- Identifying problems determining status and completeness and contacting applicants and or licensees regarding submitted materials or to obtain additional information.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws rules and or procedures while determining accuracy completeness and acceptability.
- Performing other clerical duties such as maintaining files sorting and routing mail scanning paper record documents processing transcripts answering phones and screening calls.
- Fulfilling public records request.
- Assisting with procuring bids for office supplies and placing supply orders.
- Acting as liaison with vendors such as Shred-It.

- 12 months experience as Certification/Licensure Examiner 1 16841.
- Or 12 months training or 12 months experience in reviewing applicants eligibility to take examinations test administration and scoring and compiling statistics concerning test results; 1 course or 3 months experience in typing word processing or data entry using video display terminal.
- Or 2 years training or 2 years experience in clerical/secretarial or other administrative support position involving public contact and preparation of correspondence and reports; 1 course or 3 months experience in typing word processing or data entry using video display terminal.
