The restaurant features 150 seats100 indoors and 50 on the patioand is projected to generate $23 million in annual sales.Job Overview: Ray Rays is seeking an experienced high-performing Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our newest full-service location. The ideal candidate is a passionate hospitality professional who brings a hands-on people-first approach to service team development and operational excellence.Responsibilities:- Oversee daily operations including opening/closing procedures cash handling inventory and scheduling.
- Provide clear consistent leadership to front- and back-of-house staff.
- Foster a positive inclusive and collaborative team culture.
- Conduct regular team meetings to align goals communicate changes and celebrate wins.
- Handle scheduling performance reviews coaching and disciplinary actions professionally and fairly.
- Set and maintain high standards for guest service and overall hospitality.
- Actively engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve concerns in real-time.
- Champion a guest-first mindset across all departments.
- Monitor service flow and floor operations to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Implement onboarding programs for new hires to ensure consistent training across roles.
- Implement and maintain efficient systems for ordering receiving and inventory management.
- Monitor KPIs and P&L statements to identify areas for operational and financial improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a General Manager or senior leadership role in full-service restaurants.
- Strong understanding of hospitality best practices and customer service principles.
- Proven ability to lead motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication conflict resolution and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Square POS systems scheduling software and inventory platforms.
- ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred.
