We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Armys Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bells High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program a next generation rotor-craft.

This position is onsite in Fort Worth TX

Aircraft Survivability Engineer - RF Signature Principal

You will be an integral part of the Bell Survivability team whose responsibilities are to design and develop survivable aircraft to meet the needs for the United States military on the modern battlefield.

Responsible for analyzing modeling and optimizing radar signature characteristics of various platforms and materials to ensure compliance with design specifications and operational requirements. Utilizing advanced electromagnetic simulation tools and measurement techniques you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams including design engineers and system integrators to assess and minimize radar visibility.

The survivability team is responsible for aircraft characterization and requirements compliance for a wide range of technologies: Radio Frequency (RF) Infrared Visual and Acoustic signatures; ballistic vulnerability; Aircraft Survivability Equipment integration optimization; and aircraft Mission Analysis.

The survivability team works with the Bell engineering professionals integrating survivability technologies into the aircraft of today and tomorrow through analysis and testing to achieve the aircraft survivability needs for the Warfighter.
