Med/Surg- RN

We have a number of roles open for candidates in the med/surg expertise supporting a number of our departments including but not limited to: oncology nephrology specialty surgery OB GYN cardiac and ortho.

Responsibilities:

• Assess identify plan implement and evaluate patients care.
• Develop update and coordinate the patients plan of care to achieve patient goals and optimize outcomes and transitions across the care continuum.
• Monitor record and communicate patient conditions as appropriate maintaining essential competencies required by specific areas of hire and populations served.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care by partnering in care planning to promote the autonomy dignity rights values and beliefs of those we serve.
• Foster a learning environment for patients families nursing staff and other members of the healthcare team including students.
• Ensure patient safety identify and correct problems and integrate evidence and best practices into nursing care to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN or MSN preferred.
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
• Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in med/surg environments.
• Upon time of hire the ability to obtain an industry-level certification.
