Overview:
Are you a seasoned Cisco expert looking to make a meaningful impact on public sector infrastructure The State of Michigan is seeking a Senior System Engineer to support and optimize their enterprise-level telephony systems.
In this role youll focus on the design implementation and support of Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX) with additional responsibilities across Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and Cisco Unity Connection (CUC). Youll provide Level 2 and 3 support lead knowledge transfers and ensure service excellence through strong documentation and training.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement solutions for Cisco UCCX to enhance call routing and agent/supervisor functionality.

Deliver Level 2 and 3 technical support for UCCX CUCM and CUC systems.

Develop service documentation including process design and service design packages.

Lead training sessions and knowledge transfer to internal Telephony Services teams.

Work collaboratively to ensure seamless integration of telephony systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.

Stay current with industry trends and recommend enhancements as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:

5 years of hands-on experience with each of the following:

Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX)

Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)

Cisco Unity Connection (CUC)

Strong technical troubleshooting and solution design capabilities.

Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead training and mentorship initiatives.
