Job Overview
Join Podar Education Network as a Social Science Teacher at our Shimoga location. This is a full-time mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. Youll be responsible for engaging with students through innovative teaching methods contributing to our mission of delivering quality education with integrity. The role requires a combination of academic qualifications and practical experience to effectively manage and deliver our curriculum.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have a Bachelor of Education () degree (Mandatory skill) to cater to the educational needs of students effectively.
- Must have a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree (Mandatory skill) to provide insightful depth in the social science discipline.
- Proven experience as a Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) enhancing instructional delivery and methodologies.
- Expertise in curriculum development to create and improve educational programs that meet institutional standards.
- Strong classroom management skills to foster a disciplined and inclusive learning environment.
- Proficient in lesson planning to ensure structured and purposeful teaching and learning activities.
- Ability to utilize innovative teaching methods for engaging and interactive student learning experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective teacher-student relationships and collaborative learning.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans that meet the educational standards of Podar Education Network.
- Engage students interactively in classroom discussions to deepen their understanding of social science topics.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their educational growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and curricular development.
- Participate in school meetings and professional development sessions to stay updated with best teaching practices.
- Maintain a positive learning environment where students feel safe and motivated to challenge themselves academically.
- Assess student performances through tests and examinations to determine learning outcomes and areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to keep them informed of their childs progress and challenges.
