Were Hiring: Retail Assistant & Keyholder
Location: Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens West Sussex
Days: Tuesday and Sunday (with potential for additional hours to cover staff absence or busy periods)
Sunday Hours: 11:00 AM 5:00 PM
Join us at one of the UKs most enchanting estates!Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens is looking for a warm dependable and enthusiastic Retail Assistant & Keyholder to support our newly revamped and stunning garden centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a beautiful environment and a dedicated team delivering outstanding service to our visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver an exceptional visitor experience through warm and helpful service
- Operate tills and process transactions accurately
- Receive unpack and manage deliveries
- Maintain high standards of merchandising and presentation
- Support in opening and closing the shop including cash handling and securing the premises
- Replenish and rotate stock to ensure a fresh and attractive retail space
- Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the shop
What Were Looking For:
- Previous retail or customer service experience
- Confident and trustworthy with keyholder responsibilities
- Friendly proactive and a great team player
- Passion for plants or garden centre retail is an advantage
- Flexibility to cover additional shifts when required
